I miss Blogging.

I truly miss Blogging. I've not blogged, say for 7 months.
I believe that Blogging should be a passion & that passion in me left months ago...
I couldn't afford the time anymore because my life revolves around Monday - Saturday full time job.
Sunday will then be solely dedicated to having a break ;)

I'll be back soon, maybe with a rough idea of my life now or my outfit reviews. I promise.

Internship@OCBC

Internship at OCBC Centre (Raffles Place/Cecilia Street) has been a breeze. I truly enjoy the work I'm doing right now, especially the great company that has been bestowed upon me ;) Everything happens for a reason.. I'm thankful for the gifts (monetary, spiritually, physically) God has arranged in my life.

I've been looking forward to work everyday, despite having to wake up at 6am every morning, beating the daily morning blues. It has been nothing short, but happiness during my stay there ;) I'm currently working along with 7 other interns, the team that provides me with the zest to everyday' work life. I've a pair, or rather, quartet (supervisors), who provide us with the best treatment ever! They've been of great assistance and (young) seniors to coach us in every way possible.

Nonetheless, what's better than getting to see the love of your life, everyday before & after work ;) This is in fact, a blessing in disguise! Brought back to the days before Internship commenced, then on the day of Internship, whereby it'll be announced where we'll be situated. My heart was racing fast, palms were starting to get sweaty.. I was extremely nervous where the both of us will reside at. It came as a surprise, whereby the both of us ended up working at the same building! Extremely fortunate & I'm uber grateful for that. We've been so hectic and worn out by work that it's extremely hard for us to catch up. We try to update each other as much as possible in between the walk from Raffles MRT to OCBC Centre, to & fro, which is approximately 10 minutes walk away! It definitely isn't easy... Especially with what happened few weeks ago whereby I found out how someone I used to know spout mean shit about us. But with that, both ends are trying hard to make things work, even more than ever ;)

Dining at the central isn't as fussing expensive as I thought it would be. I do not dine at Hawker Centre often but I must say, it saves big bucks!! I believe a meal costs as low as $2.50 (or even $2) to as high as $8, which is a rare gem. It's definitely the most cost effective way! But once a while, my colleagues & I still indulge in some good ol' food ;)

Throughout the four weeks of Internship as of today, one of the greatest lessons I've learnt: Being nice IS infectious. Start being kind, if you haven't, starting from today ;)

Aloysius's 26th Birthday (Part I)

I find planning for birthdays a joy instead of a chore. It may get a little tough during the planning phase, but the joy comes when at the end of the day, you look back at the outcome of what you've been planning, it's definitely worth it ;)

The first trick of this all, would be to book him first! I accomplished this a month in advance ;) Afterwhich the plan was whether to have it personal or with a bunch of friends! I struggled with this for a bit... Then I decided to do a surprise dinner with our classmates. The icing on the cupcake was having Gerrard's presence!! He barely attends our class gatherings so I'm uber grateful he finally graced one of the event, especially something I've planned!

Next was deciding on the venue. I picked Fullhouse Cafe, situated at Rendezvous Hotel. I've seen and heard all sorts of raves regarding the cafe! The concept and interior design of the cafe was what attracted me to finalize on it. I made a reservation of 20 Pax on Thursday, for dinner on Friday! Thankfully the manager was kind enough to accommodate my last minute request (phew). Similarly to last year, I lied, yet again but halfway through it got exposed. The last straw was when I muffled to the receptionist the reservation code & he replied "Table for 20 Pax right?" I failed, yet again. (Pouts in disguise)

Before he was aware of the surprise I had in line for him ;)

Unexpectedly, we were the earliest to arrive!! (Which was unplanned) We spent our free-time idling around... anxiously waiting for his surprise to appear. It was definitely a hilarious bittersweet moment. Due to our large group, we were seated at the function room, covered up with four walls, a pity that we could not immerse our dining in the beautifully decorated space. The food variety was limited but I managed to order a dish which I thought was one of the tastiest ;) Most of us happened to order the same dish too!
Balloons by Majesta & Nic!
Wok-Sear Chicken Chop ;)

After dinner, Majesta & I managed to take some time to explore the concept room that was nearest to us! I thought that the concept was heading to Victorian Style. The class started to come in and we decided to do group shots!

Shot with the guys!

Shot with the girls ;)

Thank you & thank you to each and every one of you again, for being so spontaneous despite the last minute notice! And thank you, for allowing me to be part of your birthday for third year, planning it for the 3rd time with the class ;)
