I'm truly appreciative for today ;) It's the little gestures, thoughts & gratitude from one another that eventually make my day. As the saying goes, after the rain, comes the rainbow. I can immerse in the shade of rainbow... forever.
Though I've had a tremendously long day & week, we made an impromptu trip down to town on a friday night ;) Thankful that the crowd on Friday night wasn't as bad as I visualized! It was late in the evening, whereby many were off from work to have dinner as well. I googled for something new for dinner at town & we headed to Plaza Singapura specially for Teppanyaki! Amidst the peak hour, we managed to score 2 seats in front of a clear new stove ;)
Indulging in the company of my loved one, so comfortable I lost sight of my dinner. All I remembered was sharing with him all the updates I've had for the past 2 weeks, taking a pause to take a snapshot of the food & the routine repeat its cycle. I could barely finish half of my meal, but he took it all into his strive since he was still hungry! I would love to try to book a private Teppanyaki room, just the chef cooking for the both of us, personally ;)

We took a train down to 313@Somerset & it started to drizzle on our way towards Cineleisure. Thoughtfully, he used thenewpaper he bought earlier on to read & placed it over me for shelter. That moment, I felt cared for, like a small little girl and was beaming silently with his little gesture. He's not one who's good with expressing himself regularly so it was really thoughtful of him ;) Especially when it was a sight filled with people trying to squeeze under the shelter with many others, or those who were lucky enough to have an umbrella, I found myself to be the most fortunate girl on earth. I could really allow that moment to last forever...
It was an eventful short evening spent together & with every shot and ooze of my energy left from the week..
